About Sprezz
What is Sprezz?
More than a résumé. More personal than a portfolio. It sits somewhere between a CV, a portfolio, and a link-in-bio: one page that shows your work, your taste, and what you are up to right now.
Who is Sprezz for?
Creators, designers, freelancers, and anyone who wants a personal page that feels like them, not a corporate pitch deck. If you have ever wished your profile showed more personality than a job title, Sprezz is for you.
How is Sprezz different from LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is built for networking theatre. Sprezz is built for showing who you actually are: your projects, your skills, what you are reading, what is on your turntable, and how people can reach you. No performative posts required.
Is Sprezz a link-in-bio or a portfolio?
Both. You get the simplicity of a single shareable link with the depth of a real portfolio: work history, projects, skills, contact info, and personality sections like Now playing and Reading.
Can I see an example before signing up?
Yes. Visit /demo for a live demo profile, or take a look at /merijnpijs to see what the creator's own page looks like in the wild.
Features
What can I add to my Sprezz profile?
Your Sprezz page is built from sections you can turn on, off, and reorder. Profile: Your URL, name, photo, and intro at the top. Current focus: What you're working on right now. Education: Schools, degrees, and programs. Work: Jobs and roles you've held. Featured links: Websites and links you want visitors to open. Projects: The work you're most proud to show off. Skills: What you're great at, easy to scan. Hobbies: Interests and life outside work. Events: What's coming up on your calendar. Now playing: The song or album you're into right now. Reading: Books or articles you're reading. Contact: Email, socials, and how people reach you. Pro users can also add Events (what's coming up on your calendar.) and Custom blocks (build your own blocks with text, images, video, embeds, and more.). Company pages can add events with Sprezz Business.
Can I reorder or hide sections?
Choose what shows up and in what order. Drag sections into the order you want and toggle visibility for each one. Your profile, your rules.
What styling options are available?
Accent colour, fonts, and light or dark mode. Free plans include preset accent colours and font choices (Inter, Poppins, or system). Switch between light and dark mode anytime.
What are custom content blocks?
Custom blocks are a Pro feature. Build your own blocks with text, images, video, embeds, and more. Add up to 10 blocks — one item each: text, image, YouTube or Vimeo video, or embeds from Figma, Spotify, Cal.com, Calendly, CodePen, CodeSandbox, or SoundCloud.
What analytics do I get?
Follow what's happening with your page. Free plans include a basic view count. Pro unlocks detailed analytics: views over 7 and 30 days, link clicks, saves, shares, and who added you to their network.
Can I control how my page looks in search and social previews?
How you look when someone shares your link. Set your page title and description so Google, LinkedIn, and iMessage show the right preview when someone shares your link.
AI profile import
How does AI profile import work?
During onboarding you can upload a CV or LinkedIn PDF, or paste text from your resume. AI reads the document and builds a first draft of your experience, education, projects, and skills. You review and edit everything before anything is saved.
What does AI fill in, and what does it leave blank?
AI focuses on work history: jobs, degrees, projects, and skills. It does not fill in your name, photo, bio, headline, or social links. Those stay personal. You add them yourself in the Profile section after import.
What file formats are supported?
PDF and DOCX, or pasted plain text (at least 100 characters). Scanned or image-only PDFs are not supported because we do not run OCR. If your CV is a photo scan, paste the text instead.
Can I import directly from a LinkedIn URL?
No. Sprezz does not connect to LinkedIn or scrape profile URLs. Export your LinkedIn profile as a PDF and upload that, or paste text from your CV.
Is my CV stored or added to my public profile?
No. Your document is processed in memory to extract the draft. It is not stored on our servers and never appears on your public page. Only the sections you approve and publish are visible.
Does AI invent experience or skills I do not have?
It should not. The AI is instructed to extract only factual information from your source document and flag anything uncertain. You always review the draft before confirming, so nothing goes live without your say.

The fun stuff
Why is it called "Sprezz"?
Short for sprezzatura, an Italian idea about making something look effortless even when it is not. That is the vibe: a profile that feels natural, not over-designed or over-corporate.
Who built Sprezz?
Sprezz is built by Merijn Pijs. I usually build things when the alternatives bug me, or when an idea will not leave me alone over coffee.
Is Sprezz an anti-LinkedIn project?
No. LinkedIn does its job. Sprezz is just a different kind of profile: one page for your work, your taste, and what you are up to, without the feed. It started as something I made for myself. Then friends wanted one. Then strangers did too.
